What is SA Junior Tennis Gran Prix? The circuit is a 12-month long series of singles and doubles tournaments. Coaches highly recommend the circuit for players interested in gaining tournament experience.
Most tournaments in the circuit allow players to accumulate points for matches won. The players with the most points earned over the course of the season will be invited to participate in the season finale Masters Invitational, which determines the final winners for each division.
In most of the tournaments, participants will receive 4 points for each main draw singles match won and 2 points for each consolation singles match won. (The INTRO tournaments do not offer points and are for experience only.) It is not required to play every tournament on the schedule, so players may begin playing in the circuit at any point in time prior to the Masters.

The State Gran Prix tournament is an event organized by the USPTA in Texas and is a team-based competition involving multiple cities across Texas. Our San Antonio Team will be selected based on the results of the Masters Invitational tournament. The top two finishers from age divisions 10 through 16 in the Masters tournament will be selected to represent San Antonio in the State Playoffs at John Newcombe's.
