The SA Junior Tennis Circuit is a season-based series of singles and doubles tournaments. These tournaments provide an ideal in oraganized, level-separated competition for junior tennis players.
Several of the tournaments in the circuit allow players to accumulate Gran Prix standings points for matches won. The players with the most points earned over the course of the season are invited to participate in the Masters Invitational Playoffs Tournament, which determines the season winners for each age division.
In the tournaments that offer points, participants receive 4 points for each main draw singles match won and 2 points for each consolation singles match won (for doubles, 3 pts/1 pt). (The INTRO division does not offer points.) Players may begin playing in the circuit at any point in the season prior to the Masters.

The top finishers at the Masters in regular age divisions 10 through 16 tournament are selected to represent San Antonio in a team competition at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch in September, the State Championship Tournament.
